Sourav Ganguly to retire after Ind-Aus test series

The DADA of indian cricket, cited the most successful ever captain of indian team, the most explosive batsmen of his time had announced his retirement from international cricket after the indian australian test series


In the latest press conference in Bangalore he announced that he is gonna retire after australian series."Just one last thing lads, before I leave, I just want to say that this is going to be my last series"
There was a lot of hype in media these days about retiring of senior cricketers from cricket which had obviously pressurize a lot of seniors to rethink about their presence in team. He was left out from cricket earlier but he made a strong come back to it and proved that he has cricket left in him. Most probably or you can say of course he will be continuing to play in IPL with KKR as captain.A slight look at his career:
Test matches:
109 matches ,6888 runs with average of 41.75 an highest score of 239 with 15 centuries and ofcourse 32 wickets. This gonna change with coming series.

ODI:
311 matches with 11363 runs with highest of unforgettable 183 runs, average little above 41 and 22 centuries and a total of 100 wickets.

Will always be remembered for his partnerships with Sachin, his captaincy in 2003 WC,his ability to win matches on his own(32 MOM) , his respect in team, his great comeback in team and ofcourse due to some controversies with Greg Chappell.

Sachin needs 77 runs to become leading test run scorer

Tendulkar started the Sri Lanka series needing 172 to become the world's leading run-getter in Tests, and three matches later he still needed 77. But still he is considered to be the most dangerous batsmen for the coming aussie tour. Sachin opted out from the practice match but is almost sure to be the part of indian squad for the first test match to be played in bangalore.

Sachin:"Records will come if you keep playing well, and the focus will be on playing well. My mind is not on 76 runs, and it's not as if I can relax after getting 76 runs. For the four Tests, the team has some targets, and I am more focused on those."

On the other hand Mcgrath said that it is the best chance for india to win the series,ofcouse indian fans would hope the same

Mc Gain injured, Amit Mishra in Indian squad

Australian spin bowler Bryce McGain ruled out of the first test after he failed to recover from the shoulder injury. On the other side BCCI announced squad for the first two tests. Saurav ganguly and all other seniors were included alongwith young faces like S Badrinath and Amit Mishra.

I guess this was the most amazing race i saw ever.
The first night race in formula 1. And yeah who can forget the amazing accident of renault driver Nelson piquet which led his partner to top of race and the pit stop after that which led the raceleader Felipe massa from first to last position at that time due to a disasterous pit stop when he hurried up from pits when the fuel jack was still attached to car.
Ofcourse force india driver Giancarlo fisichella was at 3rd position at that time.But the pit stop he made after that led force india with zero points with the coming end of their first season. Alonso won his first race after italian GP last year.
With just three races to go,force india would strongly try to get some points in their first season.Felipe is 7 pts behing Hamilton in drivers championship... fingers crossed....anything can happen.....
